My Story

I’ve dedicated 50 Years of my life as a franchisor, a franchisee and as a franchise supplier. Thirty seven years of those years were as an executive of franchise brands including Jack in the Box Restaurants and Mrs. Fields Cookies where I was able to create franchising programs from their very inception. While serving as President and COO of PuroClean, where under my leadership I literally tripled the size of the company from 92 locations to over 300 in a three year period; grew consumer level revenues from $46 million to $90 million and profitability of the organization soaring by 3.5 times. I was able to reduce Franchisee attrition rates to an all-time record low, each year besting the one before it. I’ve also been awarded two world-class Franchisor designations by the Franchise Research Institute.

Over the last 12 years, while serving as the President of Franchise Operations for FranConnect, I had the opportunity to work directly with many of the 1200 brands we served. This afforded me the opportunity to have access to the data and trends that permitted me to develop a study of best-practices.
